Product testing / Minerals & nutrients

Mineral & nutrient
element testing.

Request elemental measurements for a raw ingredient, premix or finished product. Specify the nutrient elements and the concentration or label value you want to evaluate.

Request mineral analysis

The elemental menu includes calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium, phosphorus, iron, zinc, copper, manganese and selenium. Include cobalt, molybdenum or another listed element when it is part of your project.

A nutrient-mineral request and a contaminant panel serve different purposes. Name the elements rather than assuming that one package covers both.

Label checks and formulation work

  • Identify the ingredient or finished formulation and its lot.
  • Provide the claimed amount and units, if checking a label value.
  • Include serving mass or volume for any per-serving calculation.
  • Describe whether results should be reported as received or on another defined basis.
  • List other tests needed for the same project separately.

Element content alone does not establish bioavailability, the identity of a mineral salt or the amount of every molecular form present. Keep elemental analysis separate from those questions.
