Water testing / Lead & copper
Lead & copper
water testing.
Request testing for a defined tap, sampling location or water project. Collection conditions are part of the result, particularly when evaluating plumbing-related metals.
Identify the sample point
and collection procedure.
Request lead & copper testing Give each tap or sampling point its own sample ID. Record whether it is an initial first-draw, a follow-up flushed sample, a source-water sample or another project-specific collection.
A sample taken after flushing does not represent the same conditions as water collected when the fixture is first opened. Include any authority-issued protocol rather than selecting a collection procedure from an unrelated program.
